1. Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed once we (or the host) verbally or in writing confirm availability and receive any applicable token/advance payment. Until then, a submitted enquiry is not a guaranteed reservation.

2. Cancellation by guest

  • [X+] days before check-in: [100% / 90%] refund of the amount paid, minus any payment-gateway charges.
  • [X to Y] days before check-in: [50%] refund of the amount paid.
  • Less than [Y] days before check-in, or no-show: No refund, as the room/tent is held exclusively for you during the mela's peak demand period.

Given the high demand around Amrit Snan dates, cancellation windows may be shorter closer to major bathing dates — this will be communicated at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation by host or by us

In the rare case that a confirmed booking cannot be honoured due to circumstances such as property unavailability, we will offer a comparable alternative property where possible, or a full refund of amounts paid if no suitable alternative is available.

4. Refund method and timeline

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within [7–14] business days. Bank or payment-gateway processing times may add a few additional days beyond our control.

5. Force majeure and event-related disruptions

Large gatherings like the Kumbh Mela can be affected by government directives, crowd-control measures, weather, or public-safety decisions. Where a stay cannot be provided due to such circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will work in good faith toward a rebooking or partial refund, but cannot guarantee a full refund in every such case.

6. Amendments to a booking

Requests to change check-in/check-out dates or the number of guests are subject to availability and may be treated as a new booking if the change falls within a restricted cancellation window.

7. How to request a cancellation or refund

Please contact us with your booking reference to request a cancellation or refund. We aim to acknowledge cancellation requests within 24 hours.
